We day-tripped from Verona by train to visit Lake Garda, Italy’s largest lake. The weather was insanely gorgeous and the beaches were still full with sun-worshiping vacationers.

Where in the world are the Gills? 
What a day you two had. While I understand the photos of the VW, the campsite, I don’t get why your photos are bereft of cyclists! Also, if you’re in the area Saturday, be aware that there is a MAJOR cycling event, Il Lombardia that zooms from Bergamo to Como. If you’re on the side of the road, wave at the camera: I’ll be watching. Off to Kaiser now.
